Get Involved with Racquetball Ontario
Racquetball thrives when our community thrives — and there are many meaningful ways to be part of the sport. Whether you’re brand‑new, a lifelong player, or simply passionate about growing opportunities for others, there’s a place for you here.
Why Get Involved?
Racquetball is more than a sport — it’s fitness, friendship, confidence, and community. By getting involved, you help us:
-
Grow participation across Ontario
-
Support youth and women’s development
-
Protect and expand court access
-
Build a stronger, more connected racquetball culture
Ways to Get Involved
1. Become a Member
Membership strengthens our ability to run programs, advocate for facilities, and support athletes. It’s the simplest way to make an impact.
2. Volunteer
Your time and energy make events possible. Volunteer at:
-
Tournaments
-
Community outreach events
-
Learn‑to‑play sessions
-
Youth programs
-
Women & girls development nights
3. Host or Lead a Learn‑to‑Play Session
Help introduce new players to the sport. We provide guidance, materials, and support — you bring the enthusiasm.
4. Become a Club Ambassador
Represent Racquetball Ontario at your local club. Ambassadors help welcome new players, share program info, and build community.
5. Invite Friends to Play
One of the most powerful ways to grow the sport. A single invitation can create a lifelong player.
6. Become a Coach or Mentor
We support new coaches — especially women — with training pathways and mentorship opportunities.
7. Donate or Sponsor
Support athletes, youth programs, women’s initiatives, and community events. Every contribution helps us expand access.
8. Join the Board of Directors
Help shape the future of racquetball in Ontario. Board members guide strategy, organize events, and lead advocacy efforts.
9. Advocate for Court Access
Speak up at city council, connect with recreation departments, and help us protect and create more courts across the province.
Have Ideas? We Want to Hear Them
We’re always open to new ways to promote racquetball — creative outreach, partnerships, school programs, social media campaigns, or anything that helps people discover how awesome this sport is.
Share your ideas, join a project, or start something new. Racquetball grows because people like you make it happen.
